15^x + 15^(x+1)=?

ansr: 16(15^x)

how did they get this ansr, in kaplan exponent rules, it says x^a+x^b= x^a+x^b so you can't add do anything to it if it's addition with the same base and different exponents, I don't understand how they got this ansr?
