Hello. I recently sent in an extra document for being inducted into the Golden Humanism Honor Society this past week. I was wondering if it delays programs looking at your application because my initial CAS went out in Batch 2, but the letter went out in Batch 7. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. From my experience, no. It just makes for more paperwork. Your application was complete without your award, so programs have already started evaluating your application. I'm sure by now you have a few interviews and a few inevitable rejections. Last year, I sent a 4th LOR and the programs that had not gotten back to me by the time this document went out started sending me those application receipts stating that they had received my extra document and to expect a decision about an interview by such and such date. I didn't feel like it delayed things at all. Good luck and congratulations you humanitarian you!
