I’m finalizing an application for a few private scholarships and one requirement is a list (limited to one page) of extra-curricular activities, awards, etc. As a non-trad, I have a lot and just listing them takes up almost a page. Should I add a short, one-line description of some of the activities? Do people typically include hours or is that unimportant?

Hmmm. Most if not all scholarships I have read over are limited to MS1s after 1st semester. Good karma come your way if you mind posting a link so everyone can take a look. If not, then no worries.

As to your post, I would just go with the one-line description and include the start and end date and what you got out of it. Be succinct. Hours, IMO, are not necessary.

Thanks! These are through an organization I’m a member of and one is through my county. I’m on my phone but could send an example of requirements later. I like your idea.
