Extra curriculars during the year?

I was wondering what sort of extra curriculars 2nd year and on students were involved in, and how you got involved in them. I feel like I've been too engrossed in just keeping my GPA up, and now that I've stabilized it in a nice place I should look for other opportunities. And for anyone with advice on what kind of extra curriculars would reflect best on me, that'd be nice too
