extra letter of rec processing time

I just added an extra letters of rec to amcas. Does anyone know how long the processing time for them to show up on the application system? I would really love to get these forwarded to my schools now while I'm still under review. Thanks!

Added it as in you did it online?

It should take like a day. AMCAS should then forward it to all the schools automatically. And how long it takes for the school to process the letters from amcas is different for each school. For some schools, it's quick. For some schools, it takes forever (*cough* albany *cough*).

If you did it by snailmail.... hehe, at least a week.

I just sent them using interfolio, so online. Thanks for all the info, esp about albany (thats one of my schools)!
