Hi all,

I’m applying early March for the cycle of 2013.

I have 100+ hours of shadowing experience with two DPMs, and I worked part time during college for 2.5 years. I also played IM basketball for 3 quarters. Do you think I need to enhance the EC part of my app by doing more volunteering at the local hospital?

I had like like 20 hours shadowing total before I started podiatry school... you're fine.

MaxillofacialMN - I went pretty often because the pod that I got to work with is really cool, and we get along really well. I love what she does, and she's great at teaching the profession to the students.

Yeah I figured/hoped you didn't think you needed 100 hours of shadowing... But JS is right, you're fine. Life is short, do what you enjoy!
