I am a post bacc applying this cycle. In between undergrad and my post bacc I worked for 6 years.
For extracurriculars, I have volunteer activities that I am putting down, as well as an organized intramural sport team that I play on.
However, I enjoy a lot of other things. I have grown up dancing, and in recent years have been taking an ethnic dance class (Bhangra). I love it because it's a lot of fun, but it has also deepened my appreciation for another culture. Additionally, I often take classes to explore other interests I have, such as cooking, French, ballet etc. Are these activities simply considered hobbies or can they be extracurriculars? Since I am a non-traditional applicant, the extracurriculars available to me aside from volunteering are these experiences that I have sought out while I was in the working world and since I have gone back to class.
What do you think?
