Focus on non-clinical volunteering, and at time of application, aim for 150 hrs for both clinical and non-clinical volunteering hours. Having no research won’t hurt you, but it would certainly help you if you had any.

Stop the shadowing. Do what @Forever Geebs said and up the volunteering by a lot. The volunteering needs to be something of service to those less fortunate.

Do you think 80 hours was too many? Also I don't plan on continuing shadowing.

In and of itself? No. But if your shadowing hours end up being more than your service-to-the-needy volunteer hours then I would seriously question your desire to help people if I were an adcom.
