Would shadowing a dentist be considered an "extracurricular" activity?
My pre-health advisor wants a list of my extracurricular activities and wondering if I should include this. And what about acknowledgements and awards. Think I should include these too?

shadowing does not count as an extracurricular....it counts as, well, Shadowing...

extracuriculars are any clubs and/or sports you participated in.
