Just a quick one, I searched and people were pretty general in what they put as extracurriculars so I just wanted to list a few of what I was thinking about putting and see what you all think.

Drawing
Men's league hockey
Weight lifting/ working out (might just combine with hockey, if I should even put either)
Working on my car (just basic stuff, oil changes, etc.)
Some sculpting (not a lot so not sure if I should even put it) and wood work (also not a lot)

Do these sound alright? Should I combine some, do them all separate? what do you think?

Hmm, I think those are fine, BUT in my opinion they should be listed as a last resort. You only have 5 slots for the extracurricular section- so I would try to put volunteer services/fraternities/clubs first,(more important) then if you have room I would put drawing/weightlifting (less important, unless you are national champion/school swim team etc <---those are important) etc on it.

alright sounds good. I have a few already filled up with volunteer stuff, just wanted to post all possibilities in the case that some shouldn't be included.

I've always thought of extracurriculars as being something sort of organized. Men's League Hockey would probably count, but the other things seem like hobbies. I'd stick with things like Art Honor Societies, Chess Club, school sports or intramurals, and things like that.

thought of another quick Q. If one of my academic "awards" is already Dean's list, I know I should only put dean's list once (although have been on ot more than once) but should I put honor roll since I have been on it every semester? And if I made dean's list at another college (was only there for a semester) should I include that?
