Hey everyone! So this is my dilemma. I have intended to apply to dental school since September of last year and even shadowed a few dentists. I like the nature of the work but still wasn't sure if I wanted to go the physician route. Thus, while studying over the summer I kept wavering and ended up not taking the DAT. Now it is September again and I want to take the DAT for the 2009 cycle (after careful consideration, I know dentistry is right for me). I have not submitted my application-just have to edit my PS (everything else is done). If I take the DAT in the first week of October, am I ruining every chance possible of getting into a dental school?

my GPAs: overall 3.43, sci 3.32

Thanks a ton!!

that is a little late, but I guess not out of the question to get a few interviews. Just make sure you smoke the DAT. and submit your AADSAS now

You are applying very late, so you gotta rock the DAT. However that being said, if you get your application in now and Rock your DAT you will get several interviews.

Make sure you submit your ADSAAS as soon as you can, and don't wait until you take the DAT. A lot of people seem to wait, and it just unnecessarily delays everything.
