Technology Extremely stupid smart phone question

This is probably really stupid, but if you put a bunch of medical programs on your Treo 680 and were down in the hospital without cell signal, could you still be able to use the programs? I ask this, because I don't know if Treos can access can wifi... which is another question... anyone know? I have AT&T.

the treo is a PDA/phone combo. you don't need one to be working for the other to work. you can actually turn the phone completely off and still use all the palm program functionality (this is how people use them on airplanes).

treos do not have wifi access at this time.
