Just a warning to new grads to steer clear of EyeGlass World!! Everyone already knows the horrors of Americas Best. However, I wanted to shed light on the buy out of EyeGlass World by Americas Best.😡

Recently, EyeGlass World was bought by National Vision. National Vision is the parent company of Americas Best. Americas Best makes optometrists see 4-6 exams/hours. Thus, Americas Best = Americas Worst. 😡

National Vision is now modeling EyeGlass World after Americas Best. EyeGlass World will soon be Americas Worst, too. When will the optometry state boards shut down these ***** houses?😡

Hopefully, board certification will forever shut down Americas Best.😀

These places have to make money on bulk, since they dont charge hardly anything. If they cant get people in the door, they wont last long. I think we will see some commercial chains fold up at some point.

What are America's Best horrors? Why are they at the top pf hated commercial eyecare?

They are like Sam's Club or something, if you get a membership with them you are entitled to "Two pairs of glasses for $69.95 plus a FREE EYE EXAM!!" The membership entitles you to a bunch of free exams plus heavy discounts on contact lenses and glasses. Offering "free" eye exams gives the public the impression that what we do isn't important or that our education and knowledge has no value.
