Hello everyone, I'm hoping to get some guidance here in lieu of my PO given the current government shutdown. Thank you very much in advance!

I applied for an F30 in 2024 at the end of G2 with an anticipated start date in G3 for four years of funding (G3, G4, M3, and M4). I received a score but I believe the council meeting was significantly delayed because of the turmoil at the NIH at the time. Thus, I received the NoA a few months ago with a start date now (as a G4). I am very grateful to be supported by the NIH especially in these times, but there are a few things unclear to me. My questions are:

1. Since my start date is now in G4 and I plan on defending in a few months, am I only eligible for two years of funding total (G4 and M3) due to the 50% graduate school and 50% medical school requirement?
2. My medical school completes core clerkships in M2 before starting the PhD. Thus, M3 and M4 are filled with aways and electives and I intend to return to the lab part-time to work on some interesting pet projects. Would this split effort qualify me for F30 funding to continue into my M4 year?
3. My graduate school is the sponsoring institution but it is a separate university from my medical school. Does the F30 automatically follow me to my medical school, or do I have to do some paperwork to switch sponsoring institutes when I transition back as an M3?
