FA Edition

I'm about a month from taking step 1. Most recent NBME was a 236. I have been using FA 2016 since I have my highlights, etc and feel comfortable with it. I never really thought about 2017 until my friends acted scandalized when they saw me using the 2016 book. Is it really worth buying a new book now? I have a PDF but am generally pretty bad at reading from a screen like that. It just doesn't feel active enough. Will it really make that much of a difference?

no it's not worth it. 2016 is perfectly fine

The few changes made are not worth shelling out 60 more bucks, you'll come across those info and much much more in Uworld.
Would recommend sticking with the one you have right now, especially since you've already used it and are familiar and comfortable with it, allowing you to retrieve and connect First Aid info that much easier.
