Pg 397 of FA appears to state that the perineurium (surrounding fascicle of nerve fibers) must be rejoined in microsurgery for limb reattachment.
However, a Q-bank Q says that the epineurium is the smallest structure that can be manipulated by microsurgery of peripheral nerves.
Can anyone confirm one way or the other?
