One key fact says. In the RV, afterload is equivalent to pulmonary artery pressure and LVEDV. Does this mean that when there is an increases LVEDV, it would back up to the lungs and increase pulmonary pressure therefore is directly affecting the afterload that the RV must pump against?

Yeah.

Same as if you have cardiogenic shock and your PCWP is increased; the result is increased pulmonary pressure.
