I've gone through FA at least once with Rx and annotating during UWorld (only a couple of more blocks of UWorld to go). I've kept a list of one-liners (and then some) of questions and topics I've either tripped up on or needed reinforcement in. Told myself I would go through FA after questions each day, but it's putting me to sleep just reading this. Any advice? I'm contemplating just going through my own notes (which aren't so boring) and diving into FA for those topics that I need a bit more juice with. What do you guys think? 1.5 weeks til game day.

I think the highest yield thing to do at this point is get through FA especially the parts where you know you are weak. You might not need to get through all of it but there are so many little points just laying there to be picked up.

Personally, I need at least 3 times through it. What I have learned is to cut FA into 14 blocks. 10 systems, Biochem, Micro, Path/Pharm, and Behavior/Immuno.

When going through these sections it is so dense and not to let my mind get tired, I do about 10-15 pages in a sitting. Take a break and do some questions, eat, play with dogs, watch TV, etc. Then, come back and do some more pages. Break.....

Until I get done what I need to that day. I usually am done around 5pm

Then, I do a quick recap going over that material that night to make sure I got most of it. That way I almost get 2 passes at once. It makes it stick better at least for me.

There is no way to remember everything in that book unless you are one of those guys. But, an average med student can do alright.

You need to make your way through it. There were a bunch of one liners that I got right on the test straight out of first aid.

I hear you guys. But I'll be lucky to get through 30 pgs in an entire day. I've been through it. Can pretty much open right to the pgs I need bc I know where most of it is. Seen the one liners multiple times. I shut down just reading it dry though.

I'll give it a go but I think I'm giving priority to my notes (which includes plenty of FA). I doubt I can through all of FA in the next week and a half at my FA pace though.

I'm just hitting the weak points. Going through them in FA is definitely necessary, but I will use my list as a guide to point me towards the correct topic. Still going try to get through as much of FA as possible but in this manner instead of page-after-page dry runs. More power to you guys who can pull that off; wish I could without drifting into la-la land.

Appreciate the advice. Thank you.
