im just starting these questions. did anyone use it prior to exam? were there sections that were not really relavent? or did you find the material pretty spot on? im still having a hard time in figuring what material is strictly USMLE and what material is for the OS exam (CBSCI). any insight would be helpful. thanks guys/gals

ALL of the materials tested on USMLE Step I is a fair game for NBME CBSE (OS exam).

i'm using the same material that med students use to study for step 1...low yield material like behavioral and statistics from step 1 would carry over to cbse
medical schools use the cbse to gauge how well their students would perform on step 1 and some even use it as graded material so the two should be the same (correlation between the two scores being 0.76)

step 1 actually has a bunch of behavioural science and stats.. it was fairly high yield, and there isn't a whole lot of material in that section to draw from.... definitely study these two topics...

anatomy is considered relatively low yield.

At the top are physiology and pathology (but these topics cover EVERYTHING... ie... a lot of stuff can be thought of as either physiology or path).

agree with you, there isn't a whole lot of material in that section to draw from.... definitely study these two topics...thanks
