Facos?

My attending has this FACOS next to his MD
but when i googled it online it comes up as fellow ... college osteopathic ...
and he's an MD orthopedic surgeon...
i called the FAAOS and he is a member...
is FACOS something ???

You called the AAOS to verify that your attending is a member, but you won't ask him what FACOS stands for?

i did ... he doesnt know... i told him about the FAAOS and he said then thats what it is
i just wondered if there was a FACOS but maybe it doesnt exist anymore or something like that
