Factor VII and Pegylation

Is it possible to have too much Factor VIII? Are there certain instances where you wouldn't necessarily want the Factor VIII to stick around for a few weeks, situations where you'd want a little more control over the coagulability of the patient's blood? If so, then pegylation may be a problem.

Of course... that's why phase I and II concentrate on dosing and safety.
