Hello, I am a first year medical student interested in anesthesia and wanted to apply to this fellowship. I saw that they have some pretty big name schools on their list. For those that don't know, when applying you rank your top 5 programs you want to do the fellowship at and if they rank you, you get accepted. How should I stand out as an applicant? I just started a project on anesthesia and am finishing up a surgical research manuscript with an old PI and have a poster. I have some shadowing from a month ago but that's about it. My undergrad ECs were extensive but not anesthesia related.
