i have 3 letters total right now brewing: 2 from anesthesia and one IM attending. for fourth letter do you think a surgery letter would be better or a letter from the Chief Medical Officer (radiologist @ non academic institution) i worked under as Chief of Staff at a health tech company? worked that health tech job for 4 years pre-med school throughout medical school M2. i’m thinking the letter would be a leadership angle

Honestly, I'd go with the one that's a bigger name that more people might know. If that likely isn't to make a difference between the two, I'd go with the surgery one. You're applying for a physician position and the person who can best speak to your performance in that realm is likely to be better received.
