This might be a dumb question but does dental school/graduate schools have a fafsa program?

From what I have read on SDN, it seems like they do but that leads me to a second question....if aid is awarded...is it just subsidized/unsubsidized loans, or are grants offered as well?

No grants, just loans, but in most cases they aren't enough to cover the expense of dental school

You will get both subsidized and unsubsidized loans. You do not get any grants. Depending on the school you may still not have enough money after these loans.

Out of curiosity, where are people getting their loans if they don't have enough money after their loans?

Loans will cover everything. After regular unsubsidized/subsidized loans you can borrow up to the cost of attendance calculated by your school using Grad plus loans which are at a 6.8% interest, at the time of this post, starting immediately upon loan dispersal.

Its actually 7.9% for Grad Plus Loans. Im not correcting to be a stickler, but a 1% difference will have an impact during the life of the repayment.
