FAFSA: IRS DRT not working?

Has anyone completed their FAFSA recently? Every time I try to link to the IRS DRT the site is under maintenance.

I'm already late in the game for finishing my FAFSA, so just would it be better to do the IRS data entry manually?

Yes it is down and not certain when it will be back on.
