Fafsa Parents info??

If I am an independant, do I need to put in my parents info? It says im not required to, but health schools (MD or RN) might need it. Does anyone know if med \schools require this info to give student loans?

You do not need this information for federal aid. You are eligible for the full Stafford & Perkins loans without providing parental information.

The only reason you would need to put the parental information is to potentially qualify for institutional aid, if they require it. My school, for example, has me fill out a seperate form for parental information, and thus I have never completed the parental information on the FAFSA.
