Is it necessary to know what dental school you are going to attend before you fill out your FAFSA? I wanted to know b/c I want to fill it out asap, but I don't know where I'm going to school yet.. thanks

This will be my first time, but I believe you can put down a few schools and it gets sent to all of them (in fact, I imagine that waiting to hear about your financial aid package is a big reason why people wait to make their final decision!)

Just remember that you have to do your 2005 taxes, not 2004 like some idiots might have thought before 🙄 😀 (yeah, that was me! 😳 )

So I imagine the earliest any one of us can do it is mid-January, right?

Yeah unless you plan not to file taxes because you didn’t earn diddly-squat this year (like me 😀 😀 ).

You can submit it as soon as it's available, and then just make changes to it later.

Edit: I just submitted my renewal FAFSA. It took about 8 minutes, so it's not difficult at all. As far as the taxes, I just checked the "will file" box. I'll add in my info at a later date. 👍
