Well, seeing as how the search function is disabled, I have to make a thread about it. How does the FAFSA work exactly when applying to schools you're not sure you'll get into? Do you just mark every school you applied to, and then once (and if) you get in, the school will take care of the rest and contact you with financial disbursement info? Getting my taxes done in a couple days, and would like to get my FAFSA done soon as well.

List them all. Your FAFSA will be sent to the financial aid department and they will "hold" your information until you register (if you register at all). The school has to determine how much aid you will get so it is better to have it done early!
