Have any students completed their FAFSA yet? I'm still waiting for the taxes of 2011 to be filled and completed before I can fill it out. Is anyone else in the same boat?

I completed mine a while ago... Got my taxes done last month, for my refund a little over a week ago. "Finished" the FAFSA a while as well. I am updating it now with parental info, but otherwise its been done for about a month or so.

I'm getting ready to file my FAFSA as well, probably this month, if not the next. I was wondering if anyone would know if a deadline exists for FAFSA or would we have to contact individual schools? Seems the federal deadline is in June.

I thought the deadline is either March First or March 31st. I am trying to finish in the next couple weeks.

@Breno, my school requires me to finish my parental info on FAFSA. Does your school requires it, too?

Yes, my school also requires the parental info. I finished my FAFSA before I knew of this so I am updating it to include it haha. I should hopefully get around to it by this weekend.

just do it before the school deadline and you'll be fine. I never do mine before I file my taxes and I only got the last bit of paperwork last week. I plan to do it by months end and if you do FAFSA by March you'll be absolutely fine.
