Can you take genetics in the spring of your junior year? By the time you've applied you'll be done with your junior year's spring semester (which will be included in your application).

Genetics is a pre-requisite at some dental schools, and not having passed it at the time of your application could look problematic.

I recommend applying after you have completed retaking Genetics and can show an A on the course.

No I can’t, it’s only offered in the fall at my schools. Most dental schools don’t require genetics as a prerequisite.

Sounds like you have a nice summer full of genetics ahead of you. I wouldn't apply till it's retaken, a D looks sketchy
