Failed cs - need application advise

Hi guys, I'm having a dilemma that I hope someone can help me solve. My step 1 was 243, step 2 was 238. I failed my CS and already retook it but scores won't come back till Oct 15th 🙁 Should I wait to submit my residency application after I get my score for second attempt CS ? Or go ahead and submit on Sep 15th and then just update my application when scores come out? Any help would be appreciated!

I'm sorry to hear this. I don't not have advice but I am surprised at the downward trend given your step 1. Did you have any indication based on your clinical grades or evals?
