Failed OBGYN Shelf and Depressed

as Hell. How the Heck did that Happen? I have never failed an NBME shelf exam before. I read the Blueprints three times, did Pretest Once and got a 15 Percentile-64 questions raw? GD I am so dissapointed right now. I get to take it again, but I dont think I know how to study any different. It is so wierd, I walked out of that test thinking I did really well-and I NEVER think that after a shelf exam. Gosh I would appreiciate some advice

you scored 15th percentile on the practice and wondered why you failed teh real one? are you joking?

Is it possible that you filled in the circles incorrectly--got off one question or something? Sounds like you put your time in. I'm sure you'll do fine when you retake it.

Agreed...how were you doing in the rotation? Did you understand all the basic concepts of OB, gyn onc, etc.?

If so, it may have been a simple "bubbling in" mistake.
