Do you guys know of many students who fail a class in their first or second year of dental school? what happens? do you take a remedial in the summer? let me know. thanks

Depends on the school. Each school is going to have a different policy about remediation, and even how that remediation happens.

For example, at ASDOH a class can be remediated by retaking an exam. The highest grade that can be given for remediation, however, is a D.
