Failing Biology for a 2nd time

Last semester I got an E in biology because I did not go to a lot of the classes and I will probably receive a NC grade for this semester for the same reason. Obviously this is not good, but I am wondering how bad it will look to retake the course and get an A while also doing well in all my other classes for the next 2 years. Currently have a 3.2 and that will not change because all my classes are CR/NC this semester. Has anyone had to retake a class for the 3rd time? If so was it brought up in your interviews at all?
