Is 7 days enough time to prep for an interview

I've been working so much and have had no time whatsoever. Luckily, this next week I am not working much and prepping for my interview. Is this enough time for both an MMI and a traditional interview? Curious, thanks. Love you all!

I dont think it's necessary to spend more than a day or two interview prepping. Reflect on what kinds of questions to expect, research the interview style, and run a couple practice interviews with a buddy.

Yeah. I prepped for like 7 basic questions and then a "why us" for each school. Also make sure to have some anecdotes ready for situational questions. Beyond that it's just generally getting comfortable interviewing.

MMIs require even less prep imo, just do whatever will make you less nervous.

personally I prepared for my MMI for about a week, just learning about all sorts of ethical issues & how to structure the answers. Literally nothing I learned showed up in the interview but I still think it was good preparation.

Like the other people said, just learning how to interview should be sufficient!

You were already ready. Secondary essays are written interview questions. (I don't know if you did Casper, PREview, or a recorded interview, but that's become more common).

Plenty of help on the forums and in the SDN articles archive.

I did the Casper but not the PREview. I will be practicing, thanks. Also, my anxiety makes my username very ironic.

REALLY echo the fact that secondaries are just written interviews. If you applied to enough schools the diverse prompts schools that make you write will cover 90% of the questions you could ever be asked in my experience. Just yesterday in an interview I got asked a question about AI and pretty much just verbally stated my take on AI in medicine from another school’s secondary.

I would suggest you read MMI prep book by Dr. Desai. It helped me a ton. You might feel nervous in the first station, but it truly shakes off. Let me know if you need the pdf version of the book!

this is what I used as well, it's quite helpful and has lots of examples with detailed explanations, u can just download it on libgen
