For those of you already working full time, is there any idea how you will be affected by this? I know this came up before and many thought that pharmacies would continue to pay overtime simply due to the demand for pharmacists. However, now that this has actually taken affect, what is ACTUALLY happening?

I'm wondering what companies (whether within our profession or not) will be eliminating their overtime pay. It seems to me, to do so would be a detriment to morale.

funny you should ask.

my partner has scheduled himself for a 19 day stretch. without the overtime
he flat won't do it. no one at corperate had an answer for him so far. in retail
they will need to pay their people somehow if they want the shifts covered.

having said that, I worked for years for HCA (Colombia to you) as an hourly
salaried employee and STILL averaged 56 hours a week. If you need the money you will work....
