Anyone here have any suggestions for the Falcon classes? I took Kaplan and failed step 1 miserably. Any suggestions out there? Thanks.

don't even consider them as they are bad and just not worth the money. i just finished their review & it was really bad. look into some other review for step 1.

I am at UMKC and like it so far. Hope I pass. I also heard Falcon was bad so check out other programs. Most people do fine studying themselves-I didn't so I'm giving this a shot.

Ziffy,

Can you elaborate on the UMKC IPP course please! I am considering taking that course in Jan, its rather expensive ($8100) so it'll be a big decision for me. But I'll do what ever I need to pass. Please outline the good/bad when you get a chance. Thank you so much!

Ok, now i hsave heard about 2 others. I correspnd with some other studnets who have taken these & say they helped them, but you need to check them out. The first is PASS Program in Illinois & the second is Topper. I only know 2 people who used topper. The unique thing about it is that they guarantee you will pass or your money back. The folks that I know who took both of these had failed previously and then passed. I couldn't afford to take either of them. ! guy took the topper for both steps. He failed 1 once took topper passed so he took it for step 2. This is all hearsay on my part. I haven't experienced either review just falcon. I'm doing pass videos on my own now and they seem pretty good. Plugging a lot of holes for me.

I hope this helps. I'm only trying to give you spome info. check them out before deciding.

Texmex,
How can I find out more about this Topper class that you've mentioned? I tried to google it and couldn't find anything about it at all and I've never heard of it before either. Thanks.

I didnt save them in my emails address so I've sent the person who took them an email. I'll send you their contact info when he replies. The guys doing that program are instructors at an Ivy league school. I don't remember which 1. I couldn't afford it as I wasted my review money on falcon.

It's hard to outline as I've only been here two weeks. However, the small groups are great. The course is heavily based on the strategy of taking the test. (This is the 8 week gig) I'm hoping the content will be sufficient. The course has been around for a long time and I'm putting faith in the fact that they must know what they're doing.

It's a long day 8-8 with breaks for lunch and dinner, which makes it hard to schedule things like work-outs, etc., but if I pass it will all be worth it. The course is very organized and instructors and administrators are all empathetic.

Any specific questions, let me know.

Hey MJ78 ...WHAT DID YOU DECIDE TO TO? Did you check out the information on all courses? I wish I could find statistics as to what percentage of people pass 2nd time around with course as opposed to study on their own.

Any info?

1. very well kept secret; usually only take students through referrals; they do not get paid unless you pass; your lawyer creates a safe 3rd party escrow account
2. some guy here -and on the google search-is claiming that topper did not pay- it appears on the gogole search also ; topper charge 12000 dols/step; if this guy truly did not get paid back then it would surely would be public information as a lawsuit; he probably got ripped offf by his own lawyer and blames topper
3. these are classy Yale grads- they do not fool around- use Common sense- if you charge $12,000 per step, You can't afford to..
4. I got an 89 with them (after 4 attempts at 68-73 using Pass program etc)
