If you are in the middle of the cycle, is it expected that you send a Fall 2009 transcripts to schools that you have interviewed with, but have not heard back from?

I ask this because although I have about a 3.85, I am sorta effing up this semester, and don't want med schools to see this lol.

If I were to interview with someone in Jan, would it look back if I never sent in Fall 2009 grades? Would it look like I'm holding out? But would 'holding out' look better than showing a <3.6?

I'm pretty sure it'll only look bad if they ask you for an update.

i don't think we need to send anything as of now (unless they specifically ask)

Occasionally a school may ask a borderline candidate for an official transcript, but this is rare. You need not voluntarily provide the information. Some choose to mention their fall grades in update letters, but without providing formal documents. If this information doesn't reflect positively on your application, don't do it.

I definitely relate to this, i have a semester from HELL!! For me, B is the new A...:laugh: I'm looking for ways to expunge my grades for 2 of my classes.. 🙄🙄 The way I look at it is that if I make it through this semester, I can survive anything. Med school's gonna be a vacation coming out this...
