It definitely depends on what your area of interest is (neuro, sports, etc). For me, the rockstars of the PT world are producing high quality research and moving the field forward. NOT those PTs with name recognition due to "techniques" or "methods" or hocking products branded with their name... I would want to meet editors of journals who are still teaching and producing research. Look at the editorial board of PTJ and I would love to meet any of them and discuss where our field is going and where there are gaps in the PT knowledge base. I do not drink beer. So I would suggest getting coffee.
