Hi, I have my interview at FAMU sometime in January. I was told that if you are in the Pre-pharmacy program there then the interview is very short (5 min). Is there anyone who has done FAMU's interview or have any kind of interview pointers. Thank you very much. HAPPY NEW YEAR!

If you are in the pre-pharmacy at FAMU don't worry much about the interview, you're in. Just dress nice and don't be nervous.

Thank you very much DaveRX, I hope it works out that way and to WorcesterPHOBoy, yes I am doing all of my pre-reqs at FAMU, I have one more semester of pre-reqs to go but they do the interviews early in the semester.

This might sound like a stupid question but does the FAMU pre-pharmacy program except transfer students? I have completed Chem I, Anatomy I and Bio I. I heard from a former student they do accept transfers and it would be a benefit to me to transfer. What I was thinking of doing is finish the rest of my General ED classes and graduate with a A.A. degree this spring and apply to famu Fall semester and if accepted then complete my remainder pre-pharmacy req's at FAMU. Please if anyone has answer to my question that if I can complete the rest of pre-pharmacy req's at FAMU? Also HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!!! 🙂

I believe that if you don't go to FAMU you can apply to the Pre-pharmacy program and take all of your pre-reqs. I believe it should work so long as you have never attended FAMU. I actually don't know the requirements for pre-pharmacy but you shouldn't have a problem getting in. You might want to call FAMU to clarify but I believe that's how it goes.
