1) How many tests are on the DAT Achiever, and what is the difference between Top score, (I know this one has 3 tests); are the tests similar?
2) Is this really true: “ In compliance with standard industry practice, DAT/OAT Achiever has been encrypted to execute on each registered computer for a limited time period of 6 - 7 months. We will, upon being notified by you, gladly extend it at no additional cost till you finally pass your DAT/OAT with flying colors”. I know that Top score charges extra for an extension.
3) Are there detailed explanations for every question in every section?
4) Can you buy it and then install it, or need to download it from their site? If both what is the best and safe thing to do, from your experience?

DATachiever has 3 tests. The PAT section is harder then the real test except for the angle and cube counting, and maybe some of the hole punching. But it is a great learning tool, make sure to review the wrong and right answers. Very helpful.

The DATachiever has an ancryption that allows it to work only on the computer installed, but the owner is a great guy. He can give you tips, review your exam scores and help you with tech difficulties. If you have questions contact him via email.

I think so. The bio, chem, and ochem and math for sure had the correct answers and some explain why the other choices are wrong. The PAT I believe had good pics of the objects and how they look from different sides.

I bought it from the website and just installed it on my computer. You then get an activation key and you can run the program.

From what I remember everything that Howui said is right on. I used dat achiever and thought it was well worth the money. It actually has a few questions that are pretty much real dat questions that the author found tricky with the numbers/wording changed. The science and pat sections are harder than the dat, but if you use it well, that difficulty will allow you to take the real thing with less of a time constraint. I would start with Kaplan and Top Score for pat and work your way up to dat achiever. Just don't get upset with your scores, it's hard... 😉
