Some schools ask the following questions:

What is your reason for choosing ....?
Write a page titled "Why I am interested in...for my dental education"

I don't have any reasons. These are my safety schools. As a matter of fact, I have seriously considered only 5-6 schools. I have thought a lot about those questions but I can't come up with a single reason. If I write XYZ university is my last resort I am 100% sure they'll reject me. One of these schools invited me for a personal interview about a week ago. After one week I still can't come up with a single reason. So, I can't contact them to set my interview date. They have given me 3 weeks to respond. Any advice?

Think of 5 good things about each school and go from there. Every school has SOMETHING to offer. For example, NYU is a popular safety school, but I can think of tons of little white lies that would make it seem like NYU was my first choice.

1. It's in NY
2. It's a big school with a national reputation
3. There are a lot of students which would allow me to find friends.
4. NYU gets plenty of research funding.
5. I have heard good things about the school from students who go there.
6. They have a nursing program.

Now I would never go to NYU if there were other options open to me, but I didn't have to lie to come up with that list either. Good Luck.
