Hi everybody,
I just started my IM residency a month ago, and the talk has begun about fast-tracking for fellowships. I have a PhD but want to practice clinical oncology in an academic environment, maybe running clinical trials. The bottom line is I want to be primarily a clinician and not work in the lab. Does anyone understand how fast-tracking works and if it would be a good idea for people who don't want to be lab rats? Thanks!
