They say that learning medicine is similar to learning a foreign language, with all the new vocabulary words. Just curious to see what everyone's favorite medical word is.

i always thought priapism was funny...not just cause of what it means, but it just sounds funny to me.
 
'Febrifuge' is an awesome word. 😀

'Sternocleidomastoid' ain't too bad, either. I also really like the phrase 'eqsuisite tenderness.'

gubernaculum

Whipple.. I dont know why but that word just sounds funny to me.

I also like Roentogram, I dont know why either!

My favorite thing to write on the ED board is "BTJ" (Back to Jail). Really no different then DC but somehow more satisfying

Canal of Schlemm was my absolute favorite from anatomy. It just rolls off the tongue.
