Dear Pathologists,

How to look for a Pathology/Lab Medicine Department's FDA registration or certificate#?

I have a friend who lives in the rural area and is considering donating a kidney for her ESRD mother. The transplant center, which is over 300 miles from where they liver, required her to do a donor panel test at their center or a local FDA registered Lab to perform the donor panel screening tests.

How to get information whether a lab is FDA registered or certified? How to look for the registration or certificate#?
