Feb 1st VCU 2nd round

Dr. Healy said they are having their meeting today and it would be starting around noon and that if they could get all the updates in to AADSAS today then we should know by 5pm but if not, first thing tomorrow morning 🙂
 
yeah, snow storm gottem. Its a good guess no meeting went down today. I'll call over there in the am (if they are open) and see if I can find out when the next meeting will be. If I get any feedback I'll post.

For everyone wondering, spoke to Dr. Healy and they are meeting on Feb 3rd since we all got snowed out here in Virginia.

heard the same thing from admissions office. Feb 3rd is the day.

I was under the impression they were going to update AADSAS but are they going to call? Ah that makes me more nervous haha
 
im gonna be checking my phone all day tomorrow. It also doesnt help that I have no classes and its too snowy to go anywhere :*(
 
I am in Richmond now and the weather is not that good. I wish the meeting is not delayed again.
 
I don't think it will be. The school is definitely up and running. 🙂

The admissions committee is meeting in the room next door to where I am studying right now. They have a note posted on the door that they will be in there until 2:00 local time. One of the staff told me earlier while they were setting up in there that it would be posted on AADSAS later today. She didn't anything about phone calls. Good luck.

Just got my phone call I'm in. Yayyyy!!! VCU 2014
 
I just walked to VCU admission office and the lady told me that they won't call you even if you get accepted today. She said we will have to check AADSAS tomorrow so I don't know how someone got a call today. Maybe she gave me a wrong info?

but i guess it also makes sense to call out of state since they did do the meeting a couple days later and since we only have like 2 weeks to respond.. well good luck to everyone

Did your AADSAS status change? And do you mind telling us your stats or posting on predents.com?

DST05 is your aadsas updated? If not lets us know when it is
 
Does VCU change the AADSAS notification regardless of acceptance or not?
 
so what really is going on now? did we VCU really call today to inform acceptances?
 
I called vcu and they said the same as what someone said above--the office said it'll update tomorrow on aadsas, and said nothing about phone calls. Maybe it's just out of state people that get calls
 
my status on aadsas hasn't changed.
 
Did you know someone personally at the school? No one else got a call today that I've talked to. We are all out of state. I called the school and the lady said that they would not call anyone regardless of where they were from. I'm not doubting you I'm just wondering why you were the only one called.
 
When does AADSAS get updated? it's only about 10 min before midnight here in Richmond, VA.

No worries to those who still didn't get in. There is still hope. I have to decide in the next two weeks whether I go to VCU or Maryland. So there is definitely going to be a seat opening up at one of those two schools.

Samsies over here....but already made up my mind- Im going to MD!! So don't worry people...

At least one more seat will become avail- I'm ooos, btw.

Hm...I wonder why I didn't get in. Do all of you have 20+ AA DAT score?
 
I didn't get in either. I kinda figured though, I have 19 AA / 18 TS / 21 PAT and a 3.66 GPA. I think that as an out of stater I needed a higher DAT if I wanted to get in.
