Do you guys ever feel fed up with med school? I mean yeah, we all keep studying all the time to get our work done, but there are times for me when I'm just fed up, but I know I must go on with studying because exams are nearing within a week or two. How do you cope when you just feel fed up and want to f*ck it all. What keeps you going, and what makes you happy about this stuff when you're feeling down, yet you know you have to spend every last minute cramming details in.

Take a day off. You need it. Spend a whole day doing mindless, dumb crap, like watching every episode of the Simpsons you can find on TV, Oprah, hell...even Dr. Phil. Watch MTV. Be inspired by the ignorance that is Jessica Simpson. If you feel you can't take a whole day....go to class and then do NO studying that night. If you're burning out the time off will help you cuz at this point...how much valuable studying are you getting done if you spend every other minute checking your email or talking on the phone out of frustration? I find a break, some braindead time, is really good for helping me pull through the rest of the long haul.
