Congrats! How long did it take for you to get approved?

Am I the only one that thought this thread was going to be about something else after reading the title?

...and by something else I obviously am referring to Familial Adenomatous Polyposis.

Funny, I have that.

Anyways, can anyone what constitutes our "Paren'ts family" on the FAP application? I'm over 24, live on my own and don't get any assistance from my mother, but she does live with 3 of my adult siblings who work and are also going to school. Thanks for any help

It usually means who lives in your parent's household.

Ya, good luck. I don't know if I would even be able to apply without it.

well you could be like the 80% of us who use loan money or part-time job income.

If you can't drop 1-2k on apps, how can you pay 40k/year for med school?

Congratulations. Your primary fees are waived only for the first 20 schools though. But, yes, FAP away since all of your secondaries are likely waived.

Now that's what I'm fappin about.

Clarification: Free primary app Up to 14 medical schools

For the family size Qs (I personally asked this question to FAP - I copied and pasted here):

The applicant family size should only include you, your spouse and your children (if applicable), as reported on your federal taxes. You may be included in your parents' family size only if you are listed as a dependent on your parents' federal tax forms.

Applicants who will not be filing taxes should include in their family size any children or other dependents who received more than 50% of their support from the applicant or the applicant's spouse. Parents who will not be filing their taxes should use the same criteria for determining their family size.

Good luck everyone!! :luck: :xf:

So I would use 4 as "parent's family" even if she doesn't claim them on her taxes?

No. If they are not claimed as dependents for tax purposes then her family size would just be her.

sorely disappointed at the name change. Was providing me consistent entertainment every time I saw it.

we pride ourselves on our professionalism here.

Lol if that was the case, half the things I say or mistype wouldn't be funny at all. 🙂

As an example, saying my friend said his roll makes up for its lack of girth with its length....

......

He was talking about his *chicken* roll.

And just for ****s, it would definitely have made our entire day's worth of lecture on the pelvis and perineum a lot less boring if we couldn't talk about the male and female anatomy. 🙂
In about a year, you guys will want to remember "S2-3-4..keeps it off the floor"
