Happy new year to all of you!

I would just like to know if anyone has interviewed at Texas A&M scott and white in temple, texas. I have my interview scheduled on January 18 and would appreciate any feedback on the program and the interview experience.

Also, I would like to inquire on how to get there from Los Angeles, CA. I've been searching for flights but the closest I find is to Austin, TX. I heard it's over an hour away from Temple.

Thanks a lot for your help.

If you can fly direct to Austin from Los Angeles, do it. Yes, from the airport Temple's about an hour drive, but the good thing is, if you can avoid rush hour, it's a painless, and non-complicated drive.

I interviewed at Scott and White. The day starts at around 9:30ish, which I liked very much (I'm not an early bird). You are picked up by some residents and go out for coffee and a brief chat. At lunchtime, they take you out to a restaurant in town, and almost all of the residents were there. They do sit you in small tables with a few residents however; that way if there is a particularly garrulous applicant with that week's set you won't get drowned out. The interviews were pretty laid back: you have 3 half hour interviews. Then there's the tour of the hospital and the city, and you conclude by having dinner at one of the resident's houses where all the applicants and residents are invited.

Overall it was a very positive experience from a program I really picked at random to interview at.

thanks, ulquiorra. although i decided to cancel my interview there due to a family emergency.

God bless.
