How does this look? Enough?

1) Shadowed 2 DO's - 1 FM and 1 Peds (rec letters from both) - Roughly 300 hours
2) About to start scribing for an OB/GYN MD
3) Founder and President of Pre-Student Osteopathic Medical Association (Pre-SOMA) here in Texas
4) President of a state-wide political organization (I'm actually worried about putting this one on there, but it's by far my biggest leadership role)
5) Volunteer - Hospital Patient Services (patient transporter) - 190 hours
6) Volunteer - Habitat for Humanity - 120 hours
7) Volunteer - The Salvation Army - 20 hours (basically just feed the homeless on all the major holidays for the past few years)
8) Member - Dr. Bernard A. Harris Jr. Pre-Med Society (several campus/community activities)
9) Member - American Medical Student Association (no activities)
10) Member - Texas Computer Education Association (no activities)
11) Member - Golden Key Academic Honor Society (no activities)
12) Member - Phi Kappa Phi Academic Honor Society (no activities)

Yeah, I'll just stick those in together somewhere.

Need more leadership roles. Also might want to look into getting some research experience. Other than that, your volunteering and shadowing is great.

More leadership? Really? Hmm... I actually thought that was my strongest area. I was a teacher too, does that count.
Ditto on the research though.

You're leadership is fine. Missed #3 and #4 on ur list and thought you were just members of different clubs.

looks like you ur heart is going toward primary care/helping the humanity. im pretty sure DO schools like that.

research isn't necessary for DO schools (maybe for tcom if you're applying tmd). its a good ec to have but not a deal breaker for any school.

MSUCOM would like to see research also bc they are a large research university

Agreed. Any state school will appreciate research interest and experience. I pointed out TCOM because op is from Texas.
